Cancellation Policy

Welcome to The Detroit Blue House! We're excited to have you stay and create lasting memories. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review our house rules: Guest Occupancy and Conduct: Only the guests listed on your reservation are permitted on the property. Parties and events are not allowed without prior written consent from the owner/manager. This is a smoke-free property. Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, and e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside and within 25 feet of the property. Drug use is strictly prohibited on the premises. Property Care: Please respect the furniture and keep it in its designated location. We provide basic cleaning supplies; however, guests are responsible for leaving the property generally clean, including the lawn area of any cigarette butts or debris. Any missing items, including but not limited to remotes, pool equipment (balls, nets), or games will be charged a replacement fee for a brand-new set. Parking: Street parking is available. Please only park on the side of the street that the property is located on. Do not block driveways or mailboxes. Pets: We welcome well-behaved pets with prior approval. An additional $250 pet fee will be added to your reservation upon confirmation. Safety and Liability: We take reasonable measures to ensure the property's safety, including maintenance of appliances and amenities. However, the owner/manager is not liable for any injuries, deaths, or losses of personal belongings due to guest negligence or unforeseen circumstances, except in cases of structural issues with the property itself. Indemnification and Insurance: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owner/manager from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of your use of the property or any violation of these house rules. It is recommended that guests obtain travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may cancel or interrupt your trip.
